About me
Sean Sheveland is a senior at Seattle Pacific University pursuing a double BA in Music Performance and Psychological Science, and will be graduating after Spring Quarter 2024. Sean showed a love of music from a very young age, as he was drawn to enroll in musical theater classes during elementary school at Allegro Dance Studios in his hometown of Canby, Oregon. He has been involved in choir since his freshman year at Canby High School, where he also had the privilege to continue his pursuit of musical theater. Notable roles include Bobbie Pepper in Curtains, and Seymour Krellborn in Little Shop of Horrors.
While at university, he has had several opportunities to perform at the prestigious Benaroya Hall with the SPU Concert Choir, most recently in Spring 2023 with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra in their season finale. Sean bakes in his spare time, and enjoys plays piano in addition to singing. He is deeply passionate about psychological research and is planning to pursue an advanced degree post graduation. Sean has the honor to serve as the 2023-24 public relations and membership coordinator for Psi Chi, the psychological honors society on campus. During his time at SPU, Sean has been in Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Chamber Music, has studied piano under Myrna Capp and Asta Vaičekonis, and voice under Cherie Hughes and Dr. Darrell J. Jordan.
"The thoughtfulness that went into programing this exciting evening speaks volumes about Sean's musicianship, intelligence, and charming personality"
